FREDERICK'S OF HOLLYWOOD is a well-known retailer of lingerie in the United States, with stores in many modern shopping malls across the USA. Frederick's of Hollywood store on Hollywood Blvd. The business was started by Frederick Mellinger (inventor of the push-up bra) in 1946. The original flagship store was a landmark on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California. In September 2005, after 59 years, the store moved to a larger, more modern, and tastefully designed space a few blocks away, near the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue. Here, in addition to the selection of bras and panties, there are corsets, including their famous "Hollywood Dream" corset, bedroom slippers, a vast array of hosiery, bridal lingerie, special occasion lingerie, and even more high-end seduction pieces. |

THE ROOSEVELT HOTEL is a historic Spanish-style hotel located at 7000 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. Named after Theodore Roosevelt and financed by a group including Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford and Louis B. Mayer, it first opened its doors on May 15, 1927. HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME Is a series of sidewalks along either side of a 15-block segment of Hollywood Boulevard and a 3-block segment of Vine Street in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA that serves as a permanent public monument to achievement in the entertainment industry. More than 2,400 5-pointed terrazzo and brass stars are embedded at 6-foot intervals over a combined 1.7 miles. The stars recognize an eclectic mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others for their entertainment contributions. The Walk is administrated by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and maintained by the self-financing Hollywood Historic Trust. |

HOLLYWOOD WAX MUSEUM The museum, the brainchild of entrepreneur Spoony Singh, was opened in 1965,[1] and claims in promotional literature to be the only wax museum dedicated solely to celebrities. The lobby and most of the inside was renovated in 2006, and a new neon sign containing 1,532 incandescent lightbulbs and 1,189 feet of neon was erected in honor of the Museum's 40th anniversary. The displays house some 180 wax figures[1] of movie stars, television personalities and characters such as Nintendo's Mario and The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
